The Blended Pulse Dual Fan (BPDF) Nozzle is a non-air inducted dual fan spray nozzle that is specifically designed for Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) operation. This dual fan spray nozzle is designed to achieve an asymmetric dual fan spray pattern without the use of air induction, producing medium to very coarse droplet sizes depending on the orifice size and pressure. This range of droplet sizes provides the best combination of drift control and spray coverage versatility available for PWM systems.
The recommended duty cycle for the BPDF nozzle is between 50 and 100%, with the ideal duty cycle falling at 75%. Ideal pressure range is from 20 to 80 PSI for optimal results. The lower end of the pressure spectrum is better for burndown applications where drift control is important. Slightly higher pressures will be best for coverage-critical applications such as herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.
