MSA Gas Mask

The full-face MSA respirator mask provides maximum visibility and wearing comfort while protecting the lungs and eyes against toxic atmospheres. This chin-type gas mask is built from versatile silicone material with a wide-angle, scratch-resistant lens. A deep chin cup and double flange face seal provide superior comfort and fit. Ideal when handling Anhydrous Ammonia, or during Grain Fumigation, Pesticide mixing, or Greenhouse Spraying. Meets Federal Safety Standards.

Canisters carry standard markings designating the application, as required by the U.S. Bureau of Mines. Variables such as concentrations of gas in the atmosphere, humidity, rate of breathing and the specific nature of the vapor all have a bearing on the canister life.

Caution: Gas masks should not be used in oxygen-deficient areas (less than 19.5% oxygen) or in gas concentrations exceeding 2% by volume, except ammonia where the limit is 3%.
