Delavan Raindrop® nozzles are designed to deliver a wide-angle, hollow-cone spray pattern that minimalizes drifting in your broadcast spraying applications. The 1/4" Raindrop® hollow cone spray nozzles feature a 120° wide-angle which improves uniform spray distribution compared with flooding nozzles. A large orifice opening and passages, plus no internal vanes or distributors, combine to minimize clogging.
Like the type-RD Raindrop® nozzles, type-RA hollow cone nozzles are engineered with a unique, patented secondary swirl chamber within the nozzle cap which alters the swirling action of the liquid, therefore increasing droplet size (810 microns @ 40 PSI) and reducing the number of driftable particles. This makes these broadcast nozzles an ideal option when spray drift is a problem. An ideal replacement for conventional wide-angle nozzles, these spray tips are great for a variety of low-drift broadcast applications with boom-type sprayers and other spraying equipment. Well suited for high-volume, high-speed applications with flotation or truck-mounted equipment.
A 100% overlap of spray pattern is recommended for best coverage.
