Thread & Gasket Seal

Gasoila PLS-2 Pipe Thread and Gasket Sealer is a general purpose, lead-free and non-hardening thread and gasket sealer. Gasoila plastic lead sealer comes as a non-toxic, gray paste which readily adheres to iron, stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, and rubber compounds. The thread sealant can be used with diluted acids, solvents, ammonia, dilute alkalis, chlorine, diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, LPG, natural gas, butane, hydraulic oils, refrigerants, and steam. However, PLS thread sealant is not for use with oxygen. Temperature rated from -100° F to 600° F and pressures up to 10,000 PSI for liquids and 3,000 PSI for gases. Thread sealer is UL classified. Sold in ¼-pint cans with brush applicator.

Temperature Ranges: -100 Deg. to +600 Deg. F.

Pressure Ranges: 10,000 PSI, 250 PSIG steam at 400 Deg. F.

From Seal to Operating Pressure: Carbon and most other steel + 30 minutes. Stainless Steel + 3 hours.
